Can you use your laptop on the bus?

NO! Laptops are for school and at home use only. So no laptops on the bus :(
Leave it in your locker if you’re coming back to the school, or arrange to have a parent pick it up.

What if

What if I don’t charge my laptop and bring it to school the next day? Ask the teacher if you can use it somewhere safely, close to a plug- so you can charge it during class.

What if

What if I pull the screen nubs off my laptop- on the top left and/or right corner? Let you homeroom teacher know so they can modify your laptop condition report that you filled out at the beginning of the year.

You should not have done this- as the nubs help keep the LCD screen off the keyboard and provide some extra cushioning. You will be charged for pulling those off, and will get billed at the end of the year.

Switching through programs the easy way!

When you have many programs open at once you can press apple tab to see what you have open in a little transparent window. Keep your finger on apple and press tab once, or twice (etc.) untill you reach the program that is open and that you want to use. After this let go and that program should be open.

Zoom In Keyboard shortcut-Cool

If you want to Zoom in on the computer screen the short cut is
apple & option & + to zoom in and apple & option & - to zoom out (for this to work you need to have zoom enabled in Universal Access Under system preferences.)-Eric B.

Adding Printers

Have you ever tried printing applications, but you can’t find the printer closest to you. No problem just hit apple P/ file print and presses on the printer bar. Now click add printer which opens up a window, click more printers and wait. After it is done loading click the one that you want and click add. This will now let you print at the printer you added to. It is very simple and easy. Remember to check with a teacher before adding a printer so you can see which one to add.

What if I drop my laptop?

Report to your teacher immediately. Take your laptop to Mr. Favreau so he can check it out and see if everything is okay. Sometimes there is internal damage, that you may not be able to see by looking at it quickly.
