Apple + 8 turns zoom on and off. If you are zoomed into something it wiil zoom out all the way when you turn zoom off; When zoom is turned back on it will zoom in to where you were when you turned zoom off.

You are strictly prohibited from using your laptop on the bus- as it’s a safety issue. If the bus stops quickly to avoid the squirrel crossing the road, then, according to Newton’s laws of motion, everyone’s laptop that is out, will slide off their lap or go flying and break.

Bringing your laptop on school trips is a BIG no-no. Even long trips, such as the Washington D.C. trip, the Harrogate trip, or the Quebec trip. There’s not any time to use your laptop on the trips, and there is a bigger chance of your laptop getting damaged, lost or even stolen.

To find tutorials for almost anything that you want there is a very good website.

First go to system preferences and click accounts and press picture. After this, press choose and find the picture you want and click it. Then you can fit the picture to your choosing and exit out. The picture should now be next to your name on the log in screen. You can also get downloading pictures. (you have to have a picture in one of your folders to do this trick)

If you know the whole name of the application click on the magnifier(spotlight) in the right hand corner and type it in. If you don’t know the whole name open up the hard drive go into the application folder and type the first letter of the application.

Grab is a program that allows you to change your folders from regular to pictures and icons.

• First you open up an image that you want a folder icon to be.
• The when it opens, go up to the top and find the word capture.
• Whe you have the picture open that needs to be copied, you drag the mouse over the selection.
• Then a copy of it will appear, copy it.
• Then go to the desktop and create a folder.
• Click on the folder and do Apple I
• When the folder comes up click on the folder icon that you want to change
• When you finally finish then the picture will appear and be your new icon.

GarageBand is a program that turns your laptop into a recording studio! It has hundereds of instruments and thousands of prerecorded sounds that can be adjusted and enhanced to create your own original sounds. To learn how to use GarageBand there is a very helpful website which gives tutorials on anything included in GarageBand that you might want to know.

No you cannot take your laptops on any field trips at all, including Washington and Quebec.

Useful Trick- Put 2 fingers on the mouse pad and you can scroll up and down and horizontal across the page. If it doesn’t work, go to System Preferences and go to Keyboard and Mouse. Click on Trackpad and check the box under Trackpad Gestures.
